Johnny, as capt Jack, is on the April issue of Total Film, with the caption 'Jack's back, to steal summer in Pirates 2'. Inside, there is a 5 page feature, with a double page spread of Johnny and a series of pix from POTC 2. It's mainly a preview with Gore Verbinski, and doesn't give much away. It talks about the pressure to deliver another hit. My fav quote is from Kiera Knightly - 'I think Johnny's performance as Capt Jack absolutely is a factor. And it wasn't written like that. It was written completely straight, so the character is entirely his and Gore's. ' Verbinski says that as much as he'd love to make a Capt Jack film, it would be 'too much of a good thing........We know how far we can go without spoling it'.
